Founder & Managing Partner | CRDG Jim brings over 25 years of experience in real estate development, business acquisition, and operations, with the last 20 years focused on Costa Rica's Guanacaste region. A University of Nebraska graduate with dual majors in Finance and Marketing, Jim was previously SVP at Harte-Hanks and a board member at Q Interactive. With dual US and Costa Rica citizenship, he oversees CRDG's family of companies.

Founder & Managing Partner | CRDG Julian brings over 25 years of real estate expertise, with the last 20 years dedicated to trailblazing land developments in Costa Rica. Renowned for his market instinct and fundraising, he has spearheaded several CRDG projects and led CRDG's first project outside Costa Rica. A Presbyterian College graduate with a Business major, Julian also established North State Appraisal, highlighting his diverse industry leadership. He oversees CRDG's family of companies.

With decades of sales and marketing experience, Gina has played a critical role in many aspects of CRDG over the past 20 years, from establishing their first vacation rental business, building the sales program at Diamante, and managing Costa Rica Pickleball Retreats. She has served as Vice President for companies such as Advo and Equifax. A graduate of the University of Redlands, Gina holds a Business degree with a minor in Spanish.

Karen is an Elite-level USPTA Tennis and Pickleball Professional. In 2010, she became the Tennis Director at The Club at Coco Bay. Karen completed her college tennis at Presbyterian College and ranked #11 in the Nation in doubles. In 1992, she became the Director of Tennis at North Hills Club and has been recognized as North Carolina Professional of the Year and Southern Player of the Year. Karen currently hosts tennis and pickleball camps and leads all racquet programs at The Club.

Jesús brings over 30 years of experience in hospitality and accounting. He is an advisor to CRDG after serving as Diamante's General Manager and then CEO for CRDG. Jesus has held General Manager roles at top hotels, including Camino Real and The Radisson, and opened the JW Marriott in Guanacaste. Educated in business strategies at INCAE, Cornell University, and Tec de Monterrey.

Luciana serves as the COO for CRDG's park-related businesses. She joined CRDG as the General Manager at Diamante Eco Adventure Park and Marketing Manager at CRDG. A key player since Diamante's inception, along with her team, she has created Costa Rica's #1 Adventure Park. She has over 15 years of experience in adventure tourism and a BA in Marketing. Her diverse skill set includes over 12 years in audiovisual production, design, photography, and digital marketing.

Manuel Canella holds an MBA and brings extensive expertise in global finance and technology, with a background at AWS and Citi. Manuel has also driven revenue growth at Diamante Eco Adventure Park.

Manuel de Juan serves as COO at Zindis Group, with over 15 years of experience in luxury hospitality. Founder of ReCast Hospitality Consultants, Manuel brings international expertise from the Middle East to Europe. A graduate of Les Roches Marbella, he is known for his strategic approach and proficiency in hotel pre-opening and refurbishment.

Francisco serves as Director of The Club at Coco Bay and brings a wealth of experience in hospitality and service. Before joining The Club, he served as the General Manager of Ginger Restaurant, overseeing sales, marketing, and operations. Under his leadership, Ginger was ranked as Trip Advisor's #1 restaurant in Guanacaste for seven consecutive years. Francisco held various roles at Hotel Puerto Azul, Villa Sol, and Hotel Flamingo.

Mauricio Ureña was CRDG's first employee. Previously serving as CEO and Branch Manager at Banco Cuscatlan (now Citi), he brings two decades of experience in financial services, international real estate investments, and project management specific to Guanacaste, specializing in local permitting. A University of Costa Rica graduate in Business Administration, Mauricio also holds certifications in English-language technology courses.

Alejandro brings 14 years of experience in adventure tourism. A certified ICT zip line and ropes guide and JumpMaster at Tropical Bungee, he excels in designing adventure circuits and serves as an instructor at Adventure Playground. With skills in automotive mechanics and metalworking, Alejandro has also pursued university-level tourism studies. He is certified in First Aid, CPR, and has completed INA courses in cable activity management, contingency handling, and emergency rescue.

Operations and F&B Manager at Diamante Eco Adventure Park, Stephanie holds a Master’s in Hotel Administration and has over 10 years of experience in tourism. With a background in event coordination and F&B at Meliá and IHG hotels, she also founded Entre Bocas restaurant. Her expertise spans personnel management, leadership, and cost control. Stephanie is a certified Chef d’Hotel by Le Cordon Bleu and an International Wedding Planner certified by INIBEP.
